01 · What We Stand For

Our Mission

We develop public-interest software, educational initiatives, and open technological resources so that advanced technologies are applied safely, ethically, and broadly — for the benefit of everyone.

We bridge the gap between advanced technology and the people it should serve — making powerful tools accessible, understandable, and free for communities everywhere.
PLEDGE Everything we build is open source.

02 · Who It's For

Who We Serve

Technology should serve people first. Everything we build is designed for — and freely available to — the people too often left out.

📚

Learners & Curious Beginners

People teaching themselves modern technology — whatever their degree, budget, or background. We keep our guides practical, jargon-free, and free to use.

🏫

Educators & Schools

Teachers and trainers who need quality material they can adapt. Everything we publish is openly licensed (CC BY 4.0), so it's yours to localize and reuse.

🤝

Nonprofits & Community Groups

Mission-driven organizations that need capable tools but can't afford enterprise software. We build open, public-interest alternatives — free by default.

🌍

Non-English Speakers & Underserved Communities

People left out by language and cost barriers. Through our Community Translation Hub, we work to make learning available well beyond English.

03 · What We Do

Programs

Focused initiatives that connect advanced technology with the people it should serve.

💻

Open-Source Tools

Building public-interest software and developer tools that are freely available to all. We focus on application-layer innovation using existing AI systems and APIs — not competing with model providers, but making their capabilities accessible to everyone, everywhere.

// public-interest software
🎓

Digital Literacy Education

Multilingual educational resources that help individuals, educators, and small businesses leverage modern technology — from beginner guides to advanced workflows.

// learn in your language
🔬

Responsible AI Research

Researching human-centered approaches to AI application — accessibility, safety, and ethical deployment. We publish our findings openly.

// research in the open
🌐

Community & Workshops

Hosting online workshops and community events that connect technology practitioners with learners. We are building a global network of people committed to using technology for positive social impact — across languages, borders, and skill levels.
